Getting there

Delegations are advised to make early arrangements for their flights to Iceland (Keflavik airport).

EEA/EFTA citizens who visit Iceland must carry valid travel documents or identity cards that are accepted for border crossing. Their travel documents must be valid beyond their stay in Iceland.

Iceland is an associate member of the Schengen Agreement, which exempts travelers from personal border controls between 29 EU countries.

For residents outside the Schengen area, a valid passport is required for at least three months beyond date of entry. For information on passport and visa requirements as well as the Schengen area regulations, visit https://island.is/en/do-you-need-a-visa.

A two-way airport transfer will be provided for each country’s Head of Delegation and accompanying members who arrive/depart on the same flights.

For delegation members arriving or departing on different flights, public transport options are available between the airport and the hotel/Summit venue.
